If Moss doesn't get hurt Klein looks like a genius.

Considering he did and the playcalling stayed the same he looks a bit foolish.

That's still not the best because you have to look at quality of the oppenents but then that's not accuraye because the opponent's may play a very weak schedule as well. Then you need to look at situational scoring. Did the team score in garbage time or did they play conservative because they were dominating.

There is no great measure of a teams offense without going into great detail and digging into a ton of data.

At the end of the day our offense was not bad compared to the conference and we didn't have anywhere near the easiest schedule like tu did.

Saying Klein sucks means half the OC in conference should be fired as well. Klein had his issues but it was year 1 with few injuries that unfortunately were to key peices of the offense.
The schedule excuse is getting old. texas did better in all games for like teams. How do you think texas would have fared against Mizz, LSU, Aub, S. Carolina? They would have been 3-1, if not 4-0.

Our SEC Schedule
Fla W(33-20)
Ark W (21-17)
Mizz
Miss St W(34-24)
LSU
S. Carolina
Aub

texas schedule
Miss St W(35-13)
OU
Ga
Vand
Fla W (49-17)
Ark W(20-10)

Didn't expect to see that!

If you listen to the negative nancies you'd expect us to be at the bottom.

Or 8-4

But don't let the facts get in the way

awful, lazy take

We played Florida at the swamp starting a RS freshman in his first conference road game with a 50 minute rain delay and a lot of water throughout, plus Mertz and Lagway

Texas played their 3rd string QB in Austin sunny and 60

We played Arky early in the season before their QB and RB went down, they were not 100% healthy when they played. tu underperformed at 11am while we dominated the trenches in primetime

Mississippi State we play away with cowbells, they once again got the dogs at home

If they played on the road at night vs SC, I see them losing. Then between LSU at home or on the road at Jordan Hare, they could have easily dropped one. I see 2-2 as more likely than 4-0

I think after this weekend, you can agree that texas is the much better team.

So if they played our schedule, who would they lose to? mizz - NO? LSU - No? Auburn - NO? S. Carolina - maybe?

They lose at Auburn? Aub lost to Cal, OU, Ark, Vandy ALL AT HOME. Its not a hard place to play this year.
The only SEC team Aub beat at home was us.

They would lose to LSU in austin? Really?

So they would have been 7-1 at worse and still in the SEC CCG.
