Umm. ATM has made huge strides both in all athletics and academics since joining the SEC. In part, that was establishing an identity away from "just hating Texas."

The older I've gotten, the stupider it has become in mind mind other than just a passing "rivalry" game and nothing more.

Ags that live in Austin tend to give tu a break because their family is there. I also have friends that live there that are more hard core because they live there. They are ALWAYS ready to go and several of them work in the capital. You know who you are....keep that **** up.

Honestly I've grown to hate LSU just as much if not more. I only know 3 people that actually even WENT to tu. Only one that graduated. And he's a pretty cool old dude. It's the tshirt sips that are mind numbingly stupid, obnoxious and all over the damn place. The ones that fly Trump flags and have no clue or care about what their woke-ass 83%-Kamala-voting "school" actually stands for.

LSU distributes the jackassery evenly along the alumni and the nutria-eating weekend warriors.

Actually no. It made us join the SEC. I'm sorry but you are simply wrong. Texas has always done everything they can to hold A&M back. They even joined a conference they didn't want to join so they could mitigate our small and meager successes. At every turn in our history they have tried to damage us.

I don't hate them, but a book I read says don't throw pearls to swine. It's really about respecting yourself enough to recognize when you're being treated badly and choosing a different mindset.


They absolutely try to damage us at every turn. They are not friends. I don't know if you call that hate or not.

Truthfully I don't hate any person or people group, including tu. I would label it more of a "healthy dislike".

I believe there is good that comes from competitive rivalries. I think they should be encouraged as much as possible. BUT when the "hate" for your rival exceeds your love & respect for yourself, you've hit an unhealthy level.

My love for & pride in A&M far exceeds any "hate" I have for any school. But I am damn happy to have this game back on our schedule.
