I'm pretty sure a lot of games we play, both opponents have white pants. That shouldn't be an issue.

In reality, the players and coaches do this "for a living". If they had any concerns over wearing the same color helmet, I'm pretty sure someone would speak up and make a change prior to the game. They have access to the internet, just like us and I'm positive they are aware of the color selection Auburn has made.

I do feel like we're the only team capable of turning relative nobodies into somebodies on the other team.

As this has occurred for more than two decades now it seems to me we do have a hard time with something.

And since we don't know what that something is we should probably avoid anything that may challenge us as a team.

There is a better than 50% chance one of the Auburn WRs or their RB Hunter has a career night. It is kinda of our thing.

I was as vocal as anyone about our msst game- but this is really not on the same level at all.

I like all the uni. combos we have worn this season, but do agree especially on the road we need to contrast the home team. I would wear maroon helmet and maroon pants, so the entire uniform is a contrasting color to Auburn.

With the speed of the game and how quickly things move it can only be a benefit to QB Reed to have both the jersey and helmet be contrasting, in addition to the pants.

Elko has given choice of uniform to the team leadership council, but he should caveat that our helmets cannot be the same color as the other team IMHO.
