I think it's the 15% of us or so that know we have the better team and can win, but are completely aware it will take a very strong effort free from many mistakes in order to pull it off

Yeah, I'd say about 75% of the people here are WAAAY off in their level of confidence. If we win, it will be by less than a TD.

Studying Vegas has made me nervous. Auburn ML is only at +115 right now, Vegas knows it will be a close game. Ags are better, but senior night, night game, road game etc. all play a factor. The game is very nerve-wracking.

Nervous because Hunter runs like a deer.

Multiple consecutive trips to at least the Natty, if not winning the whole enchilada. Then, and only then, does BAS go away. Anything else will be viewed as hope, which does not allow Ags to overcome BAS.

If you think this team can't find a way to lose this game then you haven't been watching Aggie FB for very long

I don't know that anyone is in particular fear of Auburn. We know our team isn't perfect or anywhere close to it especially with our injuries and that if they don't play well
That any team within spitting distance of
Equal talent could beat them. Auburn fits that description.

This was my reaction to people leaving the Florida game this year. I was pleasantly surprised by our performance, but I fully expected to fall apart near the end and when florida fans started clearing out I was telling them- just wait, you don't understand how good we are at blowing a lead

Do expand please. My prediction was based on watching Auburn get held to under 20 points against Oklahoma, Vanderbilt, Missouri and Cal. All of whom have worse defenses than we do (or at least did until our defense crapped the bed back to back road trips).

So how am I dumb for predicting our defense to hold them to 14 and us to win 24-14? That's basically how every Auburn home game has gone this year in the SEC… so why should I have predicted their offense to go nuts against us when they have yet to do that this year against any P4 opponent?

I'd rather be wrong having faith in A&M than predict us to lose and be proven right.

Well you look only half right. All of them have skins on the wall this season against the top half of the conference except MISS St - and they stretched t.u. in Austin & us in their house.

This season any SEC team can beat any other SEC team no matter the records. And night away games are brutal in the SEC - hence Kiffin's complaints. Even Vanderbilt is a threat instead of a scrimmage game this season.

Hell, they scored 21 in the freaking 1st Q + 2 mins of the 2nd Q.

The statistics model that spreadsheetAg posted a few days ago said A&M 26-17 or Aggies 24-21. All of the Gameday panel picked us besides Kirk (I think Saban might know ball).

So those of us who predicted a win (I said 24-14 on other threads with us scoring a late TD to ice it) weren't stupid. The defense just crapped the bed against an Auburn team who likely finishes 5-7 (2-6 in SEC play)

I'd imagine those doing the I told you so dance also probably picked us to lose to Florida, lsu, Mizzou and miss state.

Quit acting like anyone's happy about losing. That's just a lashing-out defense mechanism to justify the cockiness
