"We're looking forward to serving you at ticket pull as Texas A&M prepares to renew its rivalry with Texas. As you participate, please contribute to a positive experience by upholding the Aggie core values and showing respect to your fellow students."

Guests are $200 and doesn't mention into one but that has been the rule since I was there. grads/seniors could pull a single lower class sports pass ticket instead golf buying a guest.
Conversions are $100 each.
I'll note the whole ticket pull concept mainly identifies those committed to waiting so the school permitting the farce is egg on their face. Can't just state rules…

Does the Corps have ticket priority?
If it pushes everyone else down this is a good thing.Burdizzo said:KCup17 said:Burdizzo said:lexofer said:Groups of 11 or more can pull on Monday or Tuesday regardless of classification.Aggie Dad Sip said:redaszag99 said:
What is FLO?
Freshman Leadership Organization. Not really sure how they were able to pull with the seniors.

Wow. I am not sure when this started or who thought this was a good idea. I can only guess it was started in response to Corps block seating.
If the story above about a group getting 400 tickets is true, this is Bad Bull.
All groups get auto 3rd deck. HTH.
Thanks. They should maybe publish that on the FAQ so crotchety old Aggies like me stay in check. 400 tickets in one pull, if true, still sounds excessive. I would suggest a cap on the range of 50. And it should still follow the rule that 50% of the tickets you're pulling are at a classification for that day. If you're going to the game to be social with 50 people, I feel like you're going for the wrong reason.

I'm not sure when you went but it was never $25 and a sticker when I was in school. It always changed depending on the week and the opponent. Bama and LSU was always like $100 or more for a guest pass
New Army don't know that level of dedication.MisterJones said:

So the process hasn't really changed then. I'm class of '17 and that is essentially the same process just prices are way different.

Sure, some things should be changed a bit. But I'm all for this being a teachable lesson for college kids who are increasingly being "infantilized."
Yall figure it out.
TL;DR we have to kill or maim people for the politics supporting a tradition to change???Burdizzo said:Tex117 said:

I'm for that too as long as no one's life is at stake. We used to let students build a big wooden structure by themselves up until some of them died. Now we don't do that anymore. I have read reports that crowd management at ticket pull was non-existent and EMS was called due to some people getting crushed by the crowd. I would for someone to get hurt over football tickets.
Quote:
"We distributed over 30,000 tickets in the first day marking a record," the statement reads. "That meant we had a large number of students at the ticket pull amid rainy weather. The health and safety of our Aggie community is paramount. Based on feedback from our students and staff, we will be taking a hard look at our ticket pull process to determine whether more changes are needed."

A nonstatement of all nonstatements. They knew it would be big and did nothing.

Maximum FLO size is less than 100 kids so not sure where this is coming from. My son said a frat pullled 700 tickets - He also heard about a Flo pulling 400 - rumor is people paid to have ticket pulled He has no idea if it is true. Lots of rumors floating around. He is a director in his flo and they did not do a group pull. He (junior) was able to pull a seat this morning at 8 am - Standing Room Only by 9am - not sure where the juniors, sophomores and freshman going to stand - the system is broken
Did y'all at least make it out of non-edible paper?Quote:

One Frat pulled roughly 0.7% the capacity of Kyle? I'm calling shenanigans on that. That sounds like a fish that's gotten bigger every time the story was told.
700+400 would combine to be 1% of TOTAL tickets Kyle Field and not an insignificant percentage of the entire student allotment.
