Done it 3 times and 3 of the most difficult days of my life. Easy to say you find comfort in knowing they're no longer in pain. Reality is it just plain hurts. Bad.

Dogs give us some of the best days of our lives, and 1 of the worst. Hardest thing I have had to do.
That day is coming with one of our dogs. 14 year old Corgi that my wife had before we met. She's got a collapsing trachea so she sometimes has really bad coughing fits. She still has a large majority of good days lounging and begging for scraps, but you can see the age starting to really add up. I'm dreading that day. My 6 year Catahoula got me through some massively dark days a while ago and I'm terrified of that day.
I have two 8 year olds and I get so sad even considering that day coming

To each his own, but if you don't like dogs or were bothered about Ben going on road trips& being in the booth, you likely aren't a very good person.

How Kirk took his dog on road everywhere .. now it will set a precedent and watch how may sports announcers/ journalist will be taking their dogs on road with them.
It's just a further step in Americans all of a sudden stance on dogs can go anywhere…. There is no limit.
