It was not a good performance and would have cost us the game vs LSU, USC and tu....plain and simple.

The situational awareness comments are interesting when you consider when it counted on the money downs he delivered more often than not.

I dont get this. The offense could not move the ball with Reed. It's night and day clear who is the better option. This board is baffling.

He had a rough second half of a game yet still managed to win. He converted a ton of third downs, against a salty team, etc. He's our guy, he's a sophomore, and he will make some mistakes… he just has to learn and bounce back. It also forces certain chemistry in practice this week.

You missed the point. I'm not saying he should be replaced. Im simply reassessing our chances of making the playoffs now with him at QB. I honestly think we are a 9-3 team at best. The consistency is simply not there based on the body of work I've observed. I was hoping ND was an aberration.

This MSU with Van Buren is not a terrible football team. I am guessing they give people alot of problems down the road.

QB play across the sec is terrible this year. Van Buren may end up being the best before it's all said and done
He started 6/7 with a dropped 40y TD pass. I don't think it is his skill or decision-making that was the problem later in the game, it was the predictable routes.
There was one near INT that he was .5sec late to throw, which resulted in our reciever camping in place. But other than that, the variety of routes wasn't throwing off the secondary, so they could anticipate routes a bit better.

On the other hand, CW was atrocious, if we're being honest. If he plays like that next week, we probably lose to LSU. Elko has to at least think about going with Reed for LSU; guy is a winner and takes care of the football.
Reed, in his last 2 games showed he is not currently capable of passing downfield with any accuracy.
Can't play him against good teams until that changes

All his interruptions and almost interceptions are either air mailing the pass, or locking on to his first read and as a result not seeing the defenders lurking.

Connor walked out down 7-0. His first 6 possessions(minus end of half) he basically threw 1 bad pass, converted a ton of 3rd downs, scored 4 touchdowns and a field goal. Took control of the game on the road.
We didn't play great to close the game and Connor was part of that. But it was never really that close
