good data

a little tricky since some of the Arkansas games were played in Little Rock

the 1976 team won in Austin and Little Rock -- a huge accomplishment at the time

Looks like the normal strong start with a late season let down. 8-4

I looked at 3 rivalries side by side: Arkansas vs Texas A&M, LSU vs Texas A&M, and Texas vs Texas A&M. Yeah 1976 would be the last time that we won road games at Arkansas and Texas in the same year.

There's almost zero chance we take care of business with everyone else.

I think we can go 7-0 in home games, including 4-0 in SEC home games.

Auburn: We won our last two home games against Auburn in 2021 and 2023 by 17+ points each, and the home team has won the last 4 games in this series.

Mississippi State: they finished 2-10 for the first time since 2003 and with a winless 0-8 SEC record for first time since 2002. In fact, Mississippi State has lost 12 consecutive SEC games, all of them by double digits since a 7-3 road win at Arkansas on 10/21/2023.

Florida: They will be coming off a tough home game against Texas, and we will be coming off a much easier home game against Mississippi State. Billy Napier is good for exactly one SEC road win each year: 2022 Texas A&M, 2023 South Carolina, and 2024 Mississippi State.

South Carolina: We are 5-0 in home games against South Carolina, and 3 of those 5 wins were by 13+ points. Also, the home team has won the last 4 games in this series. Because we will be coming off a tough road game at Missouri, and South Carolina will be coming off a bye week, I think it will be our toughest home game.

I think Arkansas and Missouri are the most winnable road games. Arkansas has not played well in home games against Power 4 opponents. Dating back to a 49-26 home loss to Alabama on 10/1/2022, they have lost 9 of their last 11 home games against Power 4 opponents, and 6 of those 9 home losses were by 10+ points each. That's why I think Arkansas is our most winnable road game. Missouri went an undefeated 7-0 at home, but all 5 of their home wins against Power 4 opponents were decided by 7 points or fewer.

I just hope we don't go 0-5 in road games.

I don't feel good about next year. I think we played above our heads this year for over half the season. After LSU, it seemed like every opponent's DC had us figured out and that's why we looked so pedestrian on offense. We won't be able to catch anyone off guard next season. It will be almost the exact same offense

There will need to be tremendous change in order for our record to be 8&4 or better

Please God let me be wrong.

As bad as Miss St was this year, we barely beat those clowns. Chances are, Florida will be better. If South Carolina retains their QB... advantage them. We had no answer for that guy.

Auburn sucks, and that's a game we should have won. Beating them next year at Kyle, I could see that. I just don't feel good about any of them other than the cupcakes

I very much like this schedule but I don't feel like we can offensively execute with the exposed and defeated combination of Reed and OC Klein.

Looks like we will not have any SEC night home games next year.
