I have a dream of A&M and West Point playing a game in Normandy, France. Unfortunately, the largest stadium in Normandy, Stade Ocane, has a capacity of only 25,000.

Their defense was average but they lost bc of their offense more than the defense.

GT has a fairly easy schedule until they play ND. The game against Miami might be a bump as well. But the real cool-your-jets game for them will be against UGa.

Prediction: odds on GT making a playoff run just doubled. If they haven't yet, and you're feeling goosey, lay down some money.

Congratulations Georgia Tech! What a great game to watch! Couldn't have asked for better for a first game of the Season.

I mean it's not really going out on a limb to take the field against 1 team/coach. Also, his second half of that was wrong too.

Hopefully that shuts up FSt. for the rest of the year. They were way to lucky in several games last year.

Congratulations to Haynes King and Georgia Tech. I could not have asked for a better Week 0 game between ACC opponents. Georgia Tech was a 10.5-point underdog, but they stunned No. 10 Florida State 24-21 to start 1-0 (1-0 ACC) and drop Florida State to 0-1 (0-1 ACC). As a result, Georgia Tech beats Florida State for the first time since a 16-13 road win in Tallahassee on 9/12/20. Also, Georgia Tech snapped Florida State's 17-game regular season winning streak and 12-game winnings streak against ACC opponents, handing Florida State their first regular season loss since a 34-28 home loss to Clemson on 10/15/22.

They played the game in 3 hours 5 minutes.

FSU has fallen off. They both have average QBs and FSUs defense is not very good. They lost several key linemen and it shows. Both teams looked slow.

ESPN was really trying to stretch it out at the end too.

I was waiting for Haynes to blow it and with 45 sevonds it almost came. Terrible decision calling fo the snap while the motion man was
10' away. Almost cost them the game. Just wait a few seconds till he crosses.

He played a great game- i really thiught there would be la long wind-up slow ball int that would cost them.

Georgia Tech had the FSU heads spinning with all of the shifts, motion, and the run game variation. Their interior run game won the game. When you pound inside as well as they do it freezes those linebackers from getting out laterally to defend those quick passes.

They had some really nice plays- i really like this one:

TE left slot comes across for fake pull/block while Haynes fakes handoff up the middle and pulls it out.

Meanwhile iutside WR runs fly to clear out corner; slot receiver right does an in route and seals off the LB. Pulling TE dances around for a couple seconds like he is run blocking then releases into right flat for a nice 10yd gain before safety can get to him.

I did. DJ is not that good of a QB.

GT had problems in the backfield. DJ missed multiple open receivers.

Does anyone know the rule on whether the clock should have stopped after FSU's 3rd down gain to get into FG position? Looked like the WR ended up out-of-bounds.

The official right there at the sideline does the windmill thing with his arm, meaning keep the clock running, so he's seeing it down before out of bounds.

I was really more wondering what the rule was, but if he's saying that's inbounds….doesn't look inbounds to me. FSU should have had like 40 seconds left after the FG.
