Lol, this is hilarious and ridiculous on like 5 different levels. How does this happen? Who got fired over this? Half of season ticket holders can't get it right either. Why is this the first email we've ever seen from Trev?

This is gonna cost like $70K to fix, but Trev is here to cost cut.

Texas A&M Athletics thanks you for your continued support of Texas A&M Football. We are excited to welcome you back to Kyle Field on August 31st for what will be a historic day as we kickoff the Coach Elko era.


Season tickets were delivered last week and unfortunately, the McNeese game ticket contains a graphic design error. Conner Weigman's first name was misspelled. We have apologized to Conner and his family for this mistake, and we are actively establishing a more robust proofing process moving forward to prevent future errors. Any printed tickets received for the McNeese game are still valid and should be used on game day.


In contrition for this mistake, after the conclusion of the season, Texas A&M Athletics will mail a complimentary commemorative season ticket to all season ticket holders, regardless of if you received printed tickets or digital tickets. Each season ticket account will receive one commemorative season ticket sheet as a keepsake for what we believe will be a special season in Aggieland. Additional information will be available at a later date.

Seems like a waste of money. As a season ticket holder, I couldn't care less about what is printed on the tickets. I think the athletic department should wait until the end of the season and see how many season ticket holders even want to have a replacement sent. Only send it to those people. I personally would rather see that money spent elsewhere.

No reason spending money to fix it, that money would probably be better spent elsewhere. Just make sure the process is improved as he said. No one will remember that in 2 years, probably even Conner will never think about it.

2. Anyone submitting a proof with a misspelling or an obvious error will be docked $5,000 and is subject to immediate termination.

Two people collaborate to intentionally misspell words or names on tickets and split the bonus every week.

A nice income if you ask me

Yeah, I have had the same thought. Same as "Kev." Seems more of a kid's name than an adult. Like "Bubby."

Worked for a major company and reported to a guy named Michael, in his 50s, and went by "Mickey." Seemed a little old to go by that.
