How does the outcome of game 1 impact your expectations for the rest of the season?

I answered his question. 8-4.gkaggie08 said:
Well endowed my ass, take your small peen talk somewhere else.
The OP asked what would expectations be if we win game 1. You have to come in and spew a bunch of BAS all over the board instead of responding to the OP's question.
To answer the OP, if we beat ND, especially if we drum them, which I think we have a chance to do, we are probably looking at a 10-2 or 11-1 season. I would be disappointed in 9-3 if we win game 1
Missouri brings back what should be an elite offense, but they lost everyone on defense including their DC. Ole Miss is loaded on both sides and they play an extremely favorable schedule. Ole Miss is 20-4 in the past 2 years, odds are high they make the playoff. We play LSU at home, LSU returns a great OL and a talented QB that doesnt have a lot of experience but breaking in new coordinators on both sides.Brendan207 said:
I think we will be the surprise good team in the SEC this year - Missouri and Ole Miss are wildly overrated and they aren't going to be the ones crashing the playoff party. We are undefeated going into Baton Route on 10/26 and drop that one, and then we lose to Texas to end the season, but stay in the playoff conversation.
Florida stinks.

8, maybe 9 wins
Good but not special
Par for the course with this program
But it will dial up the "Wait till next year!" hype to 100%

No you didn't, you stated that you think we lose to ND. If you are saying that we go 8-4 after beating ND week 1, tell me the 4 losses you see coming
We beat ND, then all eyes on us at week#1. That's how we start to get into the glamour and publicity conversation. If we do, I can see us using it as some serious leverage. But with big highs there are big lows. Long season.APHIS AG said:Currently, we are an after thought with all the glamour and publicity given to the sips.Z Team said:

Beat ND and Florida and everything changes.
