Just check in any Big game involving Ohio State, the Michigan schools, Penn State, Nebraska, Iowa even, in November.Aggie Dad 26 said:Cinco Ranch Aggie said:But parkas are required in most of those environs.Aggie Dad 26 said:

I want us to stay in the SEC. Its a good fit for us. But I disagree with others who say if we went to the B1G that it would be a big downgrade and awful for us. Those are good teams, good schools.

As for going to Big, I'm not a fan of that at all. I see little in common with those schools and A&M, as opposed to the SEC. Other than Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, USC, Oregon, and Nebraska, I'm not getting excited about most Big opponents coming to Kyle. Indiana? Boring. Minnesota? Zzzzzzzzz. Rutgers? WTF is this? I would only say something like that for Vanderbilt in the SEC.

But for all the other sports it would suck. Especially baseball.

How can we possibly co-exist with people like that?

College Station to Gainsville 951 miles
College Station to Minneapolis 1,112 miles
College Station to Columbia, SC 1,038
College Station to East Lansing. MI 1,248 miles
Many of you refuse to travel to Baton Rouge. I've been once and don't blame you. Their fans are Texas Tceh trash-like, the city is terrible.
Many of you refuse to go to Jerry World. I've been twice
I went to Mizzou, didn't see many of you there.
Most of us that travel to away games don't care if the flight is to Georgia or Ohio. I'll predict that most of you complaining about travel/distance don't even go to many or any road games
People complain non-stop about traveling to Jerryworld on here lolAggie Dad 26 said:Guy12 said:

Actually, this is true. I went in 2012. Cowbells were annoying and loud. And then Johnny Football shut them up pretty quick after kickoff.Aggie Dad 26 said:Cinco Ranch Aggie said:Just check in any Big game involving Ohio State, the Michigan schools, Penn State, Nebraska, Iowa even, in November.Aggie Dad 26 said:Cinco Ranch Aggie said:But parkas are required in most of those environs.Aggie Dad 26 said:

Does South Carolina, Miss St, Ole Miss, Mizzou, and Kentucky excite you? Every conference has lower tier teams.
While Ole Miss has been good lately. Historically they're trash, their stadium is trash, and they'll return to their former selves soon enough
Zero chance you went to Starkville and enjoyed 3 hrs of cowbell
I forgot about Wisconsin. I'd like to see a home and home nonconf with them. Iowa would be okay too but they do nothing more for me than Oklahoma State ever did. Minnesota, meh. Thought I was going to get into a fight with a drunk Badgers fan at a Texas Bowl of Minnesota and Syracuse simply because I was wearing a maroon A&M tee. The Gophers aren't worth that.Quote:
Iowa and Wisconsin are good. Minnesota is not bad either.

Our non conference baseball schedule would more than likely change drastically. Being Big 10 baseball champions more times than not is fine by me too.
We would probably see a lot of Big 12 and SEC opponents for non conf games (baseball)

If we leave for the Big 10, tu will be off the leash and will destroy the SEC. SEC has no idea what they let walk through the door. We are probably the only SEC member who knows how tu operates and can strategically block them as long as we stay a member. We are an asset to help the other SEC members understand the underhanded ways of tu. We leave,...tu has their way with the SEC, no doubt. SEC only gets weaker with tu in the mix. JMO.....and, history is on my side.

Lost cause trying to make an argument for baseball. No dice there. You should accept that one.
Maybe at 18 teams, but if it were to happen, it's likely to be a 24 school league. So think of a BIG 10 that includes Notre Dame, Florida State(or Florida), Clemson(or Ga Tech) and a few others in the SE.LB12Diamond said:Aggie Dad 26 said:LB12Diamond said:

You think college baseball holds water when considering a potential conference move?
Bless your heart

You were the one trying to make a baseball argument justifying the move.
You actually think we would go to the Big 10.
Bless your heart.
