I want us to stay in the SEC. Its a good fit for us. But I disagree with others who say if we went to the B1G that it would be a big downgrade and awful for us. Those are good teams, good schools.

Just check in any Big game involving Ohio State, the Michigan schools, Penn State, Nebraska, Iowa even, in November.

As for going to Big, I'm not a fan of that at all. I see little in common with those schools and A&M, as opposed to the SEC. Other than Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, USC, Oregon, and Nebraska, I'm not getting excited about most Big opponents coming to Kyle. Indiana? Boring. Minnesota? Zzzzzzzzz. Rutgers? WTF is this? I would only say something like that for Vanderbilt in the SEC.

I agree. However, and I say this with some objectivity, if not for SEC officiating allowing opponents to hold our DL/DE with impunity, we would have won two or three more games in the last two years. It did assist with getting rid of Fisher, but at a steep price. Perhaps A&M to the BIG was a factor with Schlossnagle leaving.

If we leave for the Big 10, tu will be off the leash and will destroy the SEC. SEC has no idea what they let walk through the door. We are probably the only SEC member who knows how tu operates and can strategically block them as long as we stay a member. We are an asset to help the other SEC members understand the underhanded ways of tu. We leave,...tu has their way with the SEC, no doubt. SEC only gets weaker with tu in the mix. JMO.....and, history is on my side.

Does South Carolina, Miss St, Ole Miss, Mizzou, and Kentucky excite you? Every conference has lower tier teams.

While Ole Miss has been good lately. Historically they're trash, their stadium is trash, and they'll return to their former selves soon enough

Zero chance you went to Starkville and enjoyed 3 hrs of cowbell

Iowa and Wisconsin are good. Minnesota is not bad either.

When players around the country get asked about loudest and most intense football environments. I've seen both Oregon, and Minnesota talked about by football players. That conference is underrated IMO

If it were only about football. I could maybe see a few of those that would want to do it. Even though I would not.

But for all the other sports it would suck. Especially baseball.

Our non conference baseball schedule would more than likely change drastically. Being Big 10 baseball champions more times than not is fine by me too.

We would probably see a lot of Big 12 and SEC opponents for non conf games (baseball)

I know for a fact that Ohioans cook, and even worse eat, white bread dressing for Thanksgiving.

How can we possibly co-exist with people like that?

The amount of travel involved to any of these games would suck, both for players and fans.

I'm dating someone who grew up in Ohio. I can confirm, the stuff they eat is mind boggling.

I have been to Starkville and it was not a pleasant experience. Those cowbells are insufferable. Probably the reason I have tinnitus today...

College Station to Gainsville 951 miles
College Station to Minneapolis 1,112 miles

College Station to Columbia, SC 1,038
College Station to East Lansing. MI 1,248 miles

Many of you refuse to travel to Baton Rouge. I've been once and don't blame you. Their fans are Texas Tceh trash-like, the city is terrible.

Many of you refuse to go to Jerry World. I've been twice
I went to Mizzou, didn't see many of you there.

Most of us that travel to away games don't care if the flight is to Georgia or Ohio. I'll predict that most of you complaining about travel/distance don't even go to many or any road games

Actually, this is true. I went in 2012. Cowbells were annoying and loud. And then Johnny Football shut them up pretty quick after kickoff.

I forgot about Wisconsin. I'd like to see a home and home nonconf with them. Iowa would be okay too but they do nothing more for me than Oklahoma State ever did. Minnesota, meh. Thought I was going to get into a fight with a drunk Badgers fan at a Texas Bowl of Minnesota and Syracuse simply because I was wearing a maroon A&M tee. The Gophers aren't worth that.

Maybe at 18 teams, but if it were to happen, it's likely to be a 24 school league. So think of a BIG 10 that includes Notre Dame, Florida State(or Florida), Clemson(or Ga Tech) and a few others in the SE.

LOL

Bookmarked back at you.

Answer me this one. I get the sips are a horrible fan base. I get they try to control everything. But that's not going to happen now. FYI Ohio State is basically the sips fan base. They are the exact same but will actually control the Big 10. Texas is not going to control the SEC.

What are you so afraid of to actually want to cut off your nose to spite your face. Are you really that thin skinned or paranoid to trade out the atmosphere and venues and top level comp in the majority of all sports to lie to yourself that going to the Big 10 is a good idea?

You should probably just become a sip fan bc I actually could see them heading to the Big 10 in 5-10 years.

The SEC guaranteed us no further expansion in our state, then stabbed us in the back when EsipN started waving money around.

That alone is enough reason to tell them to eff off and look for another home.

If they can go back on a guarantee that easily, how many other ways are they going to screw us over?
