Such a dumb clock injury rule. The offense should have the option to run the clock down to the end of play clock if one of their players is injured.

I am glad Washington hung on to beat Texas 37-31 to advance to the CFP National Championship Game. As a result, they prevented Texas from winning their first national championship since 2005.

I think the sips will be screenshotting the WA defender's left hand on that last play and cry PI and that there should have been one untimed down added because of the PI. He was just going for the ball and it was "clean contact" but they will cry foul and blame the refs for the loss.

You can tell the coach is happy that they won but he's pretty pissed at the way it went down there at the end, you could just hear it in his voice. And I don't blame him.

I'm really glad they held on and had such a top-notch last play.
