My little cousin is a member of Farmhouse at osu.

He said it was left there overnight and had "**** FH" branded on it. He said the cops have an idea who did it and are gonna file felony charges

According to Twitter it's frat beef between Frats at OSU. Allegedly the cow was found dead in a pasture and taken to the frat house

Help me understand. Is Farmhouse a frat or some organization? Is this just a coinincedence that they chose a longhorn and doesn't have to do with Texas and the game? Just not comprehended why OSU folks would put F some OSU organization and think it's a dig at Texas?

Yes, Farmhouse is a fraternity at okie lite, A&M, lots of ag schools. The best way I can describe it is if you're ag biz you are AGR, if you are more hands on ag you're in Farmhouse.

Yes, everyone involved thinks this is a massively regarded move and the guy who did it is going to prison. Nobody is ducking around on this one.

Cruelty to an animal is a lot different than euthanizing at a beef facility. The intent is the issue. Need to have a lot more than a BS fine and community service…..that's why this crap happens…. no real consequences.

Exactly. An investigation needs to happen and there's way too many people jumping to conclusions here.

If you find a dead animal and put it on someone's lawn and it's in the context of college frat pranks, ok. But any unlawful slaughter and or animal welfare violations should include jail time if proven.

Yea. From the looks of the animal he had not been laying in a pasture somewhere dead and just happened to get found. No rigor or bloating. Investigation will find the truth unless the kids are from prominent families or a judges son etc. Then nothing will happen.

Rigor passes, depending on how long ago death occurs. And it's in the low 40's in Stillwater - bloating isn't going to happen anytime soon at those temps. Hell, thosea are great hanging temps. It's entirely possible that the cow was found dead and some idiot college kids thought this was funnier in their heads than it is in reality.
