Elko inherits a really good situation like Sumlin did. Sherman had some seriously stacked upper classman talent that paid off briefly for Sumlin. Manziel and Sumlin aren't successful without that NFL line and WR set.

Elko gets what hopefully remains a loaded upper classman roster and several playmakers. The key will be how fast we learn Elko's system and if we can block.

I can see us losing to ND but improving thru the year with a lot of close games going our way. We have the easiest road schedule since joining the SEC.

8-4 would be very manageable and I would not be surprised with 10-2.

Only way Elko is going 10 or 11 wins in year 1 is if he is the next Urban/Saban

There's 7 "auto" wins

2 we should wins- fla and notre dame

3 toss ups- mizzou- if they keep doing what they did this year
Lsu- they are always salty
Tu- lose alot but have lots of talent

10 isn't that far fetched

While I appreciate your optimism, it's just unrealistic. The fact that they've won multiple titles and had additional appearances, more players make the nfl, and flat out have a larger viewership and have for a while, says otherwise. Nothing wrong with striving to be a greater program, but until we actually put up greater program results outside of "but muh SEC" you can't say pretty much anything in your post and expect to be taken seriously by anyone outside of the absolute Aggiest of Aggies
