When I think of Stoops... I always wonder... with coaches like him and Briles... how many rapes and what kind of assaults am I willing to tolerate, in order to get a Natty.

I think that was when I decided I wasn't cut out for what it takes to accept a coach that is willing to permit them and keep players on the team.

At the end of the day, if a player rapes or brutally assaults a woman, they should be in jail... not the locker room.

I remember that bowl game so well. Johnny had them so beat that their defense was walking or barely trotting toward the Aggie ball carrier. I pointed this out to others around me and several said they noticed that too. OU was emotionally beat and you could see it in their body language.

Do some of you really think A&M is better than OU? OU is one of the top 5 schools in CFB. A&M might crack the top 20.

I was at that game and they could have easily scored 100.

the point is that the present-day state of either program is irrelevant, relative to potential for both.
i'm not a big Pate follower, but he's right on Texas A&M in that we've got literally everything to become elite, and our past doesn't have any bearing on what we can become.

it's not like you're comparing OU to Wyoming. bigger schools with resources and commitment can get there.
Clemson broke thru. Georgia broke thru. LSU was **** for a long time before they broke thru. UF was a turd until Spurrier helped break thru.
