1. John David Crow; 2. Curtis Dickey; 3. Bucky Richardson. Now there are three studs. Of course, were told upfront not to vote for the anctual all time best: JFF!

My top 3 were super great. Manziel was magical!

This guy:

4 year letterman and was part of a team that led us to the NCAAT. He is a take your lunch pail to work kind of player. Had all the intangibles as a player and is a local kid who wiped the floors at A&M.

Nobody projected him to play in the NBA. He worked his way up to the league and became a World Champion.

My cousin Adolphus Rankin Britt who played for A&M and was drafted in 1939 by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 9th round. Went on to serve 25 years in the Army/Air Force and came back teach at Ranger High School. He was actually in one of my Teacher certification classes at Tarleton despite being 37 years my senior.

Dat Nguyen. He got to practice early and stayed late. He seemed to be involved in ever play (near the ball),
He was not big enough to play for A&M. Boy did he prove so many people wrong. I have an autographed jersey in my office. He had a great off field reputation during and after his football days were over.

My grandpa. William Henry Lindsey. Played baseball for the Ags back in the 40s. He took a few years off to go drop some bombs in Europe. Great man!
