I received a robocall from a telemarketer, with a recorded message informing me that it's going to be Traylor.

In year 4, he was a field goal away from likely being the team that blew the doors off of TCU the following week instead of Georgia. Read this again, Georgia, by far last year's best team and the best program of the last 3-4 years, got fortunate to beat them and win the national title. He's now followed that up with 10-0 this year.GinMan said:
Ryan Day @ Ohio State: Blue Blood top 5 football program with amazing resources and an exceptional fan base. Financial resources allow them to hire a top tier coaching staff top to bottom. Excellent recruiting and NFL class players scattered all over the Buckeye nation……and HASN'T WON A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
It would be pretty silly for people not to want Day if it were an actual reality. It's not, however.

Paying gazillions for Day??? I'll pass.

whay are there folks that think Day isn't a good coach?
13-1
7-1
11-2
11-2
10-0
he's 55-6 overall and was a miss FG away fromk beating National Champion georgia in the playoffs.
I get it - he took over what was already built, but he hasn't cratered it and has kept it going.
his only negative, to me, is his punchable face.
Legitimate reports are indicating that Ryan Day will interview for the #TexasAM job. pic.twitter.com/yTJiIRlelH

Seeing some legit reports of Ryan Day interviewing today. Not sure if it's in College Station or not. Would cost a lot of money!
I think you exaggerate! A lot.Bobby Petrin0 said:Wabs said:

I'd give half my paycheck for the rest of my 40 year working career to help cover Day's salary if he came here & won a national championship, in all honesty. I would do a lot crazier things for a national championship as well, but I won't get into that today.

Why would a 10-0 coach in the midst of a potential National Championship interview for another job?

I love Texags. You can't prove he isn't so there's a chance he's walking away from the biggest game of the season, conference title game, playoff game and potentially championship game.
Because he's not appreciated at Ohio State for what he's accomplished. The administration and fans at OSU are focused only on beating Michigan and winning NC's and it appears that he would entertain going somewhere else where he could accomplish the same BUT also be appreciated and really leave his mark at said school.Seamaster said:

I give him a pass on that. No one wanted the Ole Miss job right after Freeze especially with the NCAA sanctions coming down. They just needed someone to take over while weathering the storm from the NCAA.Jbob04 said:Ag in ATL said:

He also hired Matt Luke at ole miss for head coach. As far as Schloss goes, it was well known that he wanted the A&M job, Ross didn't have to convince him.
Only somebody who doesn't know what was going on in Fort Worth would act like this was a stunning feat.Quote:
