Why would a 10-0 coach in the midst of a potential National Championship interview for another job?
Because he's not appreciated at Ohio State for what he's accomplished. The administration and fans at OSU are focused only on beating Michigan and winning NC's and it appears that he would entertain going somewhere else where he could accomplish the same BUT also be appreciated and really leave his mark at said school.

And some wonder why Ohio State is always in playoff contention.

Day isnt coming here.

You don't know that....

I love Texags. You can't prove he isn't so there's a chance he's walking away from the biggest game of the season, conference title game, playoff game and potentially championship game.

Come sunday, he may once again be facing the kind of pressure and contemp from the OSU administration for not being able to beat Michigan. He would also be missing the playoffs and his timeline would no longer be a problem.

The boss move is to beat Michigan and then quit. Leave them wanting more
