What has he accomplished at CU to warrant us giving him an interview?

Please no. Talk about completely destroying a football program. Might as well hire Jay-Z to do the announcing.

If that traveling circus comes here, I'm officially done with this athletic program.

He has created an incredible amount of fan interest, the TV ratings at the beginning of the season were astronomical. I haven't followed closely to see if they are still high.

No other candidate would bring in the energy and interest he would. Literally A&M would be the center of the college football universe if he came here. And tell me that there aren't BMAs that salivate at that thought.

Lol our problem isn't recruiting it's developing and coaching the players and winning games.

Now the Jimbo buyout is going to ensure we have no problem recruiting coaches.

Exactly. We don't need hype and recruiting. We can fund NIL deals all day long.

What we need is the detail, the coaching, player development, and game management to WIN.

If he comes to A&M, I will probably go ahead and watch and cheer for OU, since I am already sending a boatload of money there with my daughter. I dislike that guy intensely and don't see that he did anything worthwhile at CU except have a bunch of media hype, then fell completely flat. We have had that before. Don't need that crap again.

ESiPN trying to set the narrative as usual. F them. Mostly for forcing the crap show that tu is going to bring to the conference. But also for trying to push the narrative on a program they can't stand.

Plus…….everybody here is going to dump on Traylor, Schumann etc for not having the experience to run a big time P5 program…….but then you're gonna beg for Deion. Suuuuuuuuure. Colorado only hired him for the PR. Let's be real.

Would he bring attention? Yes.

But he's actually pretty conservative. Strong faith. He walks every stadium before his games.

He turned CO around by making hard decisions.

He would recruit like a madman. He has deep NFL connections and current NFL players know him.

If you're concerned about his swagger and not fitting in, remember BOR members have more money than he does. Those guys aren't intimidated or impressed by much.

I'm not arguing for him, but I wouldn't rule him out.

Colorado was BAD. Prime wasn't the fairytale the media made him out to be, but he's still done a decent job for them considering what he was working with. Of course they were obscenely overrated and annoyingly hyped up, but he has done pretty well I'd say, he's just not the miracle working messiah that folks like Mark Jones constantly made him out to be on TV.

Recruiting is not our problem. It is coaching up and developing the players once they join the program. Deion made sense for a program like CU that has spent some time in the wilderness. Our issue is different and Sanders would not be of much help.

Sometimes it is better not to have the spotlight shining on you, it can show things you don't want everyone to see.

Deion is a narcissistic fool. I can't even trust his faith is real when his mentor is the word faith false teacher T.D. Jakes who denies the Trinity.

Deion will fail as a football coach at A&M, because he followsT.D. Jakes for spiritual guidance?

Zoo gonna zoo.

This is drivel to make the base feel better about the catastrophe they just witnessed. The real answer is that Bjork will hire who he is told to hire by BMA's.

Had no idea. Feels good, man
The latest article on Sports Illustrated (which reports the same numbers as others) had Texas A&M listed as 7th in revenues for last year. Ohio State was first.

We were number 1 in revenue a handful of years ago, and are still among the elite, but not the top. An extra $9 million per year in donations to buy out Jimbo's contract will move us up higher.

We got it the wrong way around. Win a NC here and then you get the $77 mil.

Objective:
  • Prime throws players under the bus publicly; that's not sustainable, and it's not leadership.
  • His game day coaching is a problem.
  • His energy is much lower after a few losses this season.

Subjective:
  • I prefer to educate myself on religions, vs a football coach telling me about his all the time.
  • I'd bet on Lanning or Elko over Prime.
  • I'd draft Shedeur in the NFL.

My comments were about his character which is why I wouldn't want him coaching at A&M, but his coaching abilities are suspect as well.

I have realized for some time that I have to stop caring so much about A&M football due to the inevitable pain. Hiring Deion Sanders would take me directly to the point of not caring at all. Not to mention that he would be a terrible hire.

Colorado is #35 in team talent yet only #65 in team performance. Coach Prime is all hat and no cattle.
