Imagine the concourses at Kyle on the 3rd deck. Now Imagine a concourses about 10ft wide. That is Neyland. Similar seating capacity. Crap egress.

Not necessarily. The seats at the old Texas Stadium were wider and far more comfortable (not just due to the width) than at the newer stadiums I've been to. TS was built around 1970. I only went to a few Cowboy games but it was a pleasure watching HS football and even the small number of SMU games I went to in that place.

There are many reasons why seats are the width they are at venues old and new.

Why should airlines accommodate people that have no control over their food intake?

Should there be narcan included at every seat like life vests and oxygen masks?

Worst stadium I've been to in the SEC. The sections are insanely wide and the seat numbers aren't marked when you enter. Very steep on the top deck and zero legroom.

The CEO of Southwest is an Aggie. There are Southwest pilots that post to this sub. There are also Aggie flight attendants.

Making seats larger and charging a higher fare to compensate for lost revenue would be a disaster for Southwest.

Fliers have champagne tastes on beer budgets.

The whole state of Tennessee sucks at crowd control.

  • Solid traffic on Interstate 40 from Nashville to Knoxville, both ways.
  • The main concourse at Neyland is a fire hazard...you are elbow to a&&hole trying to get across to the restroom, but you cant just walk in, you have to get into the human current and let it take you 100 ft before you get two feet the other way.
  • The traffic getting into Nashville airport is a 30 minute wait from the main entrance.

Run down I agree. Looked like it was actually fixed up and rehabbed some since I was there in 03. Great atmosphere for college football tho. Fans that are too comfortable don't yell loud enough in my opinion

Less legroom than any stadium I have been to ever. Dangerous trying to get in and out of rows.

Sounds like Notre Dame's stadium. The ND stadium is old, and each numbered seating space give you about 12 inches. You have to sit sort of sideways and with very little knee room.
