was definitely crammed in there, not much seat spacing… but thought the environment was great! The yachts on the TN River outside the stadium was cool (not many yachts on the Brazos)… tailgating in parking garages was a little different (stadium very much land locked)… overall great experience! Well worth the trip..

Restrooms were from the 70's, needed some ice in the troughs.

Eh, I kind of like the older stadiums even if they are inconvenient in some ways.

Guess if we had a ****ty stadium we might win some games.

They have a 337 million dollar renovation going on to fix everything you're complaining about. All should be finished by 2026.

Also, i go to a bunch of games. This was the loudest opposing fan base I've ever heard in neyland.

On par with the Rose Bowl. In other words, a dump.

Run down.
Narrow walkways.
Rusty beams.
Cracked cement.

Well, designed for normal sized humans and not the fat asses Americans have become, perhaps.

Table sugar is a helluva drug

Sounds like Notre Dame's stadium. The ND stadium is old, and each numbered seating space give you about 12 inches. You have to sit sort of sideways and with very little knee room.

I have been to ND stadium. This was worse.

The getting in/out and concessions were rough but overall I liked it
Thought it was loud and appreciated not having to sit through a 3 hour rap concert

I agree with this 100%

Here is a real review of Neyland Stadium
Stadium is on-campus 10/10
Stadium is nestled between a the river in the smoky mountains 15/10
Tailgating atmosphere and fan support 15/10

Awesome overall experience and I would say this is a must visit for all SEC fans possibly even the best in our conference (After Kyle of course).

Way too much whining about a stadium. People have become way too soft. A stadium doesn't have to be luxurious to be a great experience.

Yep, some have already forgotten what Kyle Field was like before the 2014-2015 remodel. It was really bad for visiting fans since their lower level section was about 20 yards beyond the back of the endzone but still parallel to the sidelines. Then the rest were up in the upper corners of the NEZ.

When I had season tickets in Zone 501, there was always a look of defeat on a few of the visiting fans when they saw the set of stairs they had to walk up after walking up the ramps to get to the section

Given I helped inaugurate the east side third deck in 1979, I'm not feeling sympathetic. Now the next year my scholarship sponsor invited me to join them in Suite L-6 and I had an open invitation to visit if I could get up there. I always had a story after that about how I got in…guests just need to know people!!!

Correct and even then it was great (In some ways better than today). The reason it was awesome was because of game day experience has nothing to do with isle width, concessions, and paint.

The stench the team left on the field was the worst part of the stadium.

ND has been renovated and the old wood benches taken out. It's a million times better. Eventually neylajd will be fine, just really needs Reno. We're luckily with the timing out ours. It would probably cost a billion with todays inflation.

If you're a natty or bust type you basically hate college football. The vast majority of college football fans will never see their team win a national championship, but that's not what's great about college football. There is no college football without all the Kansas States, the Kentuckys, the Wake Forests, the Washington States… and their loyal fans.

If everyone adopted the attitude half of the zoo displays it would be the death of the sport then and there, once and for all. It's not about one game in January. It's about 12 Saturdays in the fall when your team will take the field and have their chance to beat the team across from them, and all the craziness and drama that ensues on that field.

We can't beat them on the field, but by golly we've got a fancier stadium! :-)

Well said my friend!

And what a bunch of fragile flowers some of ya'll are! Holy cow!
I went to the Tennessee game to support our Ag's, for the game and to experience the atmosphere…Not to be pampered like in Jerry world…Sure, the stadium needs improvement, but it wasn't like we were watching a soccer game in a third world stadium. This experience was well worth the stub hub price, exorbitant downtown Hilton and the sky high round trip tickets! Seems like my little wife handled it better than some of ya'll!

Good lord, what a bunch of p***ies. If you're that cranky about a stadium might as well just stay home and watch on the couch.
