I knew this game would be a shootout, but I did not expect a combined 59 points in the first half and 104 total. Ole Miss bounced back from a 24-10 loss at Alabama with a thrilling 55-49 win over LSU to improve to 4-1 and 1-1 in SEC games. Also, Ole Miss snapped LSU's 3-game winning streak and dropped them to 3-2 and 2-1 in SEC games. We will probably have to win shootouts in road games at Ole Miss and LSU.

Field rushes with an escalating penalty paid to the visiting team is definitely special!!!!

Ole Miss was better today. The SEC is too good a league to use badmouthing opponents when one wins over another.
