PAT burns no clock. Not sure why they go for two. Guess it puts them up by 6 instead of 5? And if LSU scores a TD, maybe you pray they miss the PAT?

If LSU gets a TD it's tied. Then they kick the xp and more chance for error and OT.

OLE miss kicks the xp and LSU TD is auto win without having to win with xp.

clock doesn't run on extra point, I think the idea is if LSU scores a TD there is still a chance to block their extra point for a tie.
