The past few days have been nice. Recruiting was getting pretty hard to following given all of the stagnation, but a few big names in addition to the recent results could ramp the excitement back up tremendously.

A few top 100 guys is a good start. I'm just excited to see a little bit of movement. I just remember how recruiting was before Jimbo, and how we would constantly try and put lipstick on pigs. Then you look back at the guys that were starters compared to some of our guys now and realize how big the gap really was. I don't want to see us revert back to that.

Our recent recruiting has not been typical of what Jimbo is known for. He's always been as good a recruiter as anyone. Combine that with our NIL leverage and I don't really get how we're still without a top 100 player at the moment.

I appreciate the insight you bring to this board, and I generally take a "wait and see" approach to recruiting rather than "the sky is falling", but it doesn't take an expert to know we need to step it up in a big way and close the 2023 class strong. Sure it's only June, but it's June for the folks in the top 10 too. More big names may in fact be coming. I just hope they are big enough.
