Yes, our offense was outdated with no strategy with adjustments. Jimbo relied upon execution which was a major management failure. These young and inexperienced players with some injuries doomed us all season. How do you think a senior ladened team like App State beat us? Embarrassing and Jimbo cannot allow that to ever, ever happen again.

But yeah, Achane was a better pass threat than our offense was equipped to show. I still maintain that the long ball that Calzada dropped to him in the Bama game is the prettiest ball I've ever seen an Aggie QB throw.

That was beautiful play...and normally I think he takes it to the house but Christian Harris, the Alabama LB, was right there with him, pretty much step for step, and was able to push him out of bounds. Dude ran a 4.44 so he was not slow by any means..

A checkdown to the RB coming out of the backfield doesn't work well if the defense doesn't respect your QB and has everyone within 15 yards of the LOS playing downhill at the snap. Defenses quickly learned not to respect King at all last season, and Johnson was slightly better.

Our OL played like trash last year, that is the bottom line. People asking if we under-utilized or overused a player are missing the forest for the trees.

We called plenty of RB screens and swings. They were often thrown off target, or not blocked well.

Jimbo underutilized all of his most talented players both while on the field and those with potential on the bench.

He would have been amazing on a wheel route, but we were late getting the right people on the field and had to call a timeout and changed the play to off tackle run!

'13 was miserable watching JF stay in the pocket! That guy could flat out improvise.
