What you say, Paper Champion? I'm gonna beat you like a dog, a dog, you hear me!
Was going to say that. He had - ONE D1 offer?JDCAG (NOT Colin) said:
His offer list would indicate that major coaches disagree with you.

Kyle Allen did not live up to his collegiate expectations. Neither here nor at Cougar High. But the NFL gave him a shot based on his measurable. Good for him for making a career of it. It would be revisionist history to say he had a good college career.

Sort of like Ken Hall. That was a bit different, though, in that he left us on the way to Junction.

Hall was a freshman that year. Fish didn't make the Junction trip.
No, he didn't. He and JDC were freshmen that year. They did not make the trip to Junction. They played on the freshman team. Hall played, albeit sparingly, several seasons on the varsity afterwards before quitting.cavjock88 said:Slicer97 said:Huh?cavjock88 said:NoahAg said:

K. Let me rephrase for your comfort and conveniences. He left as the team was on the way to Junction.
No, more on the fact that he was a basketball player and only played football his senior seasonjaxisback said:
Mike Evans was no overachiever. He was an NFL receiver coming out of Galveston Ball. Anyone who actually saw him play and new what they were looking for knew he was one of the best players in his class in America.
The fact that Evans was not "rated" as high by the media was more a reflection on the poor quality of media experts as opposed to the ability of the player.

Out of the top 20...6 are currently on the roster so yet to be determined. 8 absolutely panned out. 4 absolutely did not. And then I'm not sure where you slot Kyle Allen and Daylon Mack. Both were major contributors.
Randy Simmons blew out his knee in a high school all-star game after his senior year and never regained his form. He was also in the same class as Darrin Lewis who went on to become A&M's all-time leading rusher.90ags said:
Rodney Thomas, Greg Hill....
Do recall Randy Simmons being a huge recruit (maybe top RB in Texas at the time) and he never truly panned out (can't remember if injury).
