As a former college athlete and coach I just don't understand this "holier than thou" mindset that you think is still supposed to exist in college sports.

Are you telling me if you took a job tomorrow and then someone offered you twice as much money at a better company you'd turn it down due to your principles?

I was at A&M in the 90's, and the only "more to it" was that people tried to justify it then too, instead of admitting what RC was.

The only negative is that Bobby Petrino is a dick, and someone who looks like he is only out for himself. But he knows offense, and his style would seem to mesh very well with the style of football that Jimbo Fisher's philosophy dictates. The negative will really only be that you absolutely cannot pencil in this type of a guy for even more than a year or two at most, but even thats a model that has lately had some success at Alabama in particular.

Could Petrino being hired sway massive Caden Jones to the good guys? Caden's uncle, Marcus Jasmin, played at A&M in the 2000s.
