Offense is going to blow it up next year. Petrino will excel with this group.

So let me get this straight he just accepted a job with UNLV a month ago and now he cuts bait and runs to us? Maybe I am old school but that's a crap move on his part and shows he has no ethics not that we really think he did. The last shred of respect I had for Jimbo is gone.
As a former college athlete and coach I just don't understand this "holier than thou" mindset that you think is still supposed to exist in college sports.
Are you telling me if you took a job tomorrow and then someone offered you twice as much money at a better company you'd turn it down due to your principles?
Get serious dude, too many stone throwers and anti Ags trying to make this look like a bad deal. This was a smart move by both parties that needed to be made.

Well we've always been stupid but had the moral high ground. Now we've got nothing.

Fact is in the last decade his FBS record includes 2 great offenses, 1 terrible offense, 3 mediocre offenses.
That is not the mark of some great offensive mastermind who is a top notch coach at developing players & out scheming his opponents.
This is a mediocre offensive coach who got luck with a great talent in a mediocre conference. Lamar Jackson would not have taken his offense from mediocre to elite in the SEC. There is too much talent on both sides. He would have a giant impact, but not mid tier to top tier impact.
The game changes & what he did ten plus years ago is not a useful metric compared to what he has accomplished recently. If Fisher's offenses still worked as well as they did in '13 we would not be in this situation.
