I wonder if the truth were known any coach could hold up to this board's judgmental morality standards. Or any poster for that matter?

Because it was our first cold weather game and many coaches in NFL won't allow sleeves in cold. It's more common requirement to remove than you think. Even some of my high school buddies require that.

So let me get this straight he just accepted a job with UNLV a month ago and now he cuts bait and runs to us? Maybe I am old school but that's a crap move on his part and shows he has no ethics not that we really think he did. The last shred of respect I had for Jimbo is gone.

Wasn't he nailing his secretary?

As a former college athlete and coach I just don't understand this "holier than thou" mindset that you think is still supposed to exist in college sports.
Are you telling me if you took a job tomorrow and then someone offered you twice as much money at a better company you'd turn it down due to your principles?
Get serious dude, too many stone throwers and anti Ags trying to make this look like a bad deal. This was a smart move by both parties that needed to be made.
If you would turn down a job for twice or three times the money, just because you just took another job, hey, good on you. The world needs dummies too.Rick2340 said:Exactly the type of move expected from a dirtbag like PetrinoTexasAggie_97 said:

I may have missed an earlier post, but maybe Rueben Owens and Raymond Cottrell flipping to the good guys, along with the commitment of Micah Tease and Jaden Platt had something to do with knowing Petrino was going to be OC. Maybe we ought to see how the players react and who else might commit because of this.
Alrighty then…. let’s get this party started huh?

No, we would have much better leadership.
So, adultery is okay if you end up marrying the side piece. Noted.Dr RC said:RC then married and is still married to that "other' woman. Not really the same thing since Petrino clearly was only in it for the sex.annie88 said:zafzo said:I was told Aggies don't lie, cheat, or steal.montanagriz said:

okay, this is a surprise.
Petrino will probably be here 2 years max
if he has success...he will get hired away somewhere as a head coach
Those of us at A&M in the 90s know there was more than that.Reed McDonald 92 said:So, adultery is okay if you end up marrying the side piece.
