TCU was 5-7 last year and filled a bunch of starting spots with Transfers. 4 on O and 5 on D.

Dykes was pretty mediocre at SMU last year. If he were that good, he'd have been better at SMU... and certainly couldn't have turned the team around at TCU.

TCU is loaded with 5th & 6th year players.


It is difficult to recruit top talent to SMU. That being said, Dykes did amazing things with the limited talent he had.
