With this being said, even with the rivalry in mind, why tf would you do that when you've been close with most of the leaders of the 2022 recruiting class?

This always felt like a bit of a setup for us. He seemed less than excited when he committed at the UA game, and never reallly appeared committed after that. It almost felt like a flip setup from the start.

Have a feeling this kid will get his share of publicity...just not the kind that will boost his FB career. Also, IF he received $$...I suspect he/family will have spent it before his career comes to an abrupt end.

Nobody knows today how this plays out for this young man. That said, if I were to place a wager here I think there are too many distractions and issues for this kid that will get in way of his success on field. It feels very Speedy like or the RB form a year or so ago.
Nothing looks more foolish than tradition to those who have none.

It was a foolish and immature thing to do that won't be forgotten. He likely burned friendships along with the hat.

It seemed to me that something was not quite right with him during the recruiting process and after his commitment. Moreover, he vacated a seat on the GOAT recruiting class train that may be taken by someone who adds more value overall to the program. No regrets.

There are places where players and families like that thrive. I don't believe A&M is one of them. It's probably best for both parties to wish each other luck and go their separate ways. I look forward to seeing Perkins play at LSU. He'll definitely be a name that a lot of Aggies remember for a long time.

I was impressed with the way Shemar handled his signing day ceremony, even going as far as picking up the Miami hat and thanking them and his hometown for the entire recruitment. I wish Perkins had this level of maturity....regardless, not our problem.

In his interview he made it clear he was more about himself than any team. He would not have been the headliner in this class. Perhaps he will get the opportunity to run the ball against the defense coming out of this class.

They can have him. Bunch of family dancing around like he's already bought them all new houses. When they should be building him up to be the best he can be.
