It's kinda weak, but Mond can't seem to hang in cold weather. His only comment on where he wanted to be drafted to was "somewhere warm." And he didn't ever seem to play a great game in the cold, ever, that I remember. "It's cold," isn't a reason to struggle, so I hope he buckles down and gets after it!

Doesn't look like Mond is starting, Mannion is being mentioned as the starter by espn and Minneapolis sports writers.

I am a Vikings fan. Kellen was never going to start this game.

They signed Kyle Sloter, an absolute journeyman, off the street to potentially start if Mannion could not go, which tells you all you need to know about how much confidence Kellen has instilled in them in year 1 on the job.

The fact that he has been inactive all year behind a guy like Mannion tells you all you need to know.

Only intrigue Sun night is the fact that it will be ridiculously cold in GB and maybe the QBs wont be a big factor anyway.

If Kellen could run tough, that might make a difference in that weather, but Vikes going to go any other direction they can.

As a fan would like to see Kellen succeed, but year 1 clearly not been a positive.

Looking at Mannion's career, it's probably close to what Mond will have if he can stick around. He gets the nod because he's got a lot more experience, but no way he's ever going to be QB1 anywhere.

Kellen Mond is the back up, Sean Mannion who just cleared COVID protocols will start.

Imagine a postgame interview with a QB where when asked why they lost, he says that he can't perform in cold weather. I'm sure the media and fans who sat in the stadium will be sympathetic.

Disappointing Kellen didn't get the start tonight.

I wish he'd replace Dak in Dallas.

Maybe they'll bring him in to spark the offense
