Jimbo has never had a problem replacing coaches, Elko was great while he was here but I fully expect the next DC to be just as great or better.
Yup. Remember his bend but don't break style allowed Ole Piss and State to just march up and down at will. Im ready for a more aggressive approach.
Any decent QB we faced this year torched us.
This thread is going from bad to worse. First, we have the mindless entitlement mentality that someone somehow owes A&M their career path if we want them here. Then, we have others who, likely without any provocation, declare the guy unfit the second he's out the door.
If you felt this way about him before now, fine. But don't suddenly get a "he wasn't that good anyway" vibe now that he's gone. That's bush league. If he was good yesterday, he's the same today; if he wasn't, we needed to hear about it. Him leaving didn't change a thing. I don't care if he left for another DC position.
Wish him well or just keep your mouth shut. I'm made critical comments of the staff, but, absent them doing something that begs slamming the door on their rear end, don't embarrass yourself or the university with this kind of tripe.
