I understand what you're saying, talent wise you're right, our class is going to be awesome either way

I'd say wanting to have the number one class, in my opinion, is more about recruiting momentum. Those 2023 guys will take even more notice if we haul in the best class in the nation.

He will visit UT in December BUT is unlikely to visit UT for a game this year per his dad.

He is ALSO set to visit A&M in December per his dad.

Conclusion? I think he'll play for JIMBO next year as an AGGIE.

Clay Travis is from Nashville and has openly been rooting for Walter to stay in Tennessee. It means nothing. That Tennessee defense did not help its case yesterday.

There are only 35 or so 5 star's in the 247 composite rankings. 247's own rankings only have 15 5 stars.

Updated thoughts on Anthony Lucas based on social media stuff, and his recent visits to Bama.

This is gonna be a close one.

It appears there are 7 spots remaining in the class, with a couple of silent commits very likely. It's time for recruits to make a decision or risk being left out.

Also interesting that Jimbo landed his last #1 class at FSU 2 years before his national championship there.

So who's next?

I knew Denver Harris was gonna make it into town, but I hadn't heard anything about Kelvin Banks and Harold Perkins showing up. Three 5* recruits in for an 11am game. That's tough to do.

And to add on: you had some of your best recruiters in town between Weigman, Bobby, and Anderson.

Yes, the general consensus is that we have a lot of ground to make up in that one. But you never know. Especially when you can get the kids on campus. I'll be interested to hear how the visit went.

Goodwin seems like a long shot as well but it seems like we see his name keep popping up lately.

Updated my thoughts on some of the targets after these last couple rounds of visits. Keep in mind, this is just me just making some educated guesses, and trying to get a gut feel on things based on what I see on social media, talking to a couple people, etc.

Overall, I'm loving where the Ags sit right now with just a few weeks until ESD.

Alright back to recruiting now that the cliff jumpers have left TexAgs until the next time that we lose a game.

OU's recruiting class is about to completely fall apart. And so is LSUs. Tiger commits all thought that Lincoln was on his way to BR. Whoops. Citizen just decommitted, and there are more where that came from.

I told y'all earlier today that one game was not going to effect our recruiting class much at all. Now you're seeing it. All of the crying over losing to LSU, and they're the first to lose a commit. Amazing how that works.

Jimbo is going to close with a HUGE class. Our visitor list the weekend before early signing day? Oh man… just watch.
