Kliff Kingsbury was pretty tough, hit after hit by the Wrecking Crew, and he never left the game

Not an Aggie but Byron Leftwich playing on a broken leg is hard to best.
Seven and three are ten, not only now, but forever. There has never been a time when seven and three were not ten, nor will there ever be a time when they are not ten. Therefore, I have said that the truth of number is incorruptible and common to all who think. — St. Augustine

Non-Aggie? Kliff Kingsbury, I hated him but he always got back up and played. Our defense used to absolutely rearrange is fecal matter and he'd just get back up and play.

Aggie? McGee

Klingsbury is tough. Saw it with my own eyes. Just kept getting up.

I opened this thread thinking "it won't be a popular answer, but Kliff Kingsbury." Zach is making a strong challenge, though; I'm very tempted to move Kliff to number 2. My opinion on Kliff is based on that one game where we kept hitting him and he kept coming back, and I think that is still the most impressive from one game. What Zach is coming back from in multiple games is incredible.

Hail to the new king of tough QBs in my book.

Uncle Rico was tough as nails. We would've won state if Coach would've put him in. I saw him throw the football over a mountain one time.

Grandpa had John David Crow in a class, and has always told a story that when asked by a professor to speak to the class about his Heisman award experience, John David Crow told the professor, "my agent told me not to take to anyone unless I get paid."

That being said, for this tread, I would do McGee and Bucky as toughest A&M QBs I ever saw play (young with Bucky and college during McGee's time). Trevor Knight could also take a hit, but McGee and Bucky are definitely tops in my book.

Ty detmer against the wrecking crew.

You'd have to pay me a lot of money to come back out after that first shoulder.

Give him props for being tough... didn't work out well for him though.

I'm surprised to see Kingsbury on this list but beyond Bucky and McGee……..lemme tell you something, we beat the absolute **** outta Kingsbury that one year at Kyle and that little sumbuck kept getting right back up for more. It was amazing. More recent vintage but kinda the same thing was Brandon Allen

1) Stephen McGee, in his signature game at QB, was driving the ball against tu, in Austin, when he was tackled, and his testicles were brutally squeezed by the tackler. He was slow to get up. He lumbered to the line, and vomited through his facemask, almost on the centers ass. Snap ball, QB keeper TD, beating #11 tu in Austin. From then on, he flew through the skies and shot laser beams from his eyes.

2) Bucky

3) Zach:

4) Kliff Kingsbury - Does no one remember this guy as a kid perfecting the Chuck and Duck with the Pirate? Go back and watch those A&M / ttu games in 2000 and 2001, and see how many "targeting penalties" would have been called in 2021. His MO: Hike the ball with 5OL vs 7 rushers, throw the ball to the open man, get the ever loving **** kicked out of you, complete the pass for 4 yards, repeat 14 times per drive, drive after drive, until you win.
