chicago basin in Colorado is pretty dang cool. Take the train up to needle creek and come out on the Vallecito side. Hard to beat that one.

Definitely Acadia National Park--this would be an awesome addition to the dream trip!

it WAS the Grand Canyon. Had the pleasure of doing an 8 day rafting trip through the whole GC. Fantastic experience, next time it'll be in a dory boat and twice as long time-wise.

Not ANYTHING like the majestic places mentioned. But, have gone to Broken Bow and Hochatown in Oklahoma the last couple of years and was not disappointed Also, stay right here in Texas and go Big Bend and the Hill Country, you can't go wrong.

Big Bend!

Been hiking to a lot of places. But one, in particular, that I want to go to, is a place I was not able to finish. I took my sons to hike to Table Rock in Teton Canyon Wyoming. about 11,000 ft hike. My oldest ended up having altitude sickness more than 3/4 of the way up. I could see the end in sight. But had to go back down for his sake. Never did go back and finish. Been there a few times camping and doing other hikes. But never the big one to get back up. Maybe next summer. If I win the cooler I will for sure do it and send pics.
