Haven't been back to College Station in years, what is the best parking approach this year?

I don't mind walking…

Probably the gravel lot (Fan Field, it's called) of Research PW by the Bush School. They have bus service from there.

Anyone know if they still run buses from the mall for game parking?

The 3 csisd campuses across from the golf course on Bush all do game day parking as a fundraiser. Convenient to the Quad but parking only no tailgating

A&M United Methodist Church at Northgate has cash for parking spots on game days as well.

You can also park in downtown Bryan and shuttle to Kyle.

What about along somewhere in Southgate along Bush?

Bush Library parking lots have busses that drop and pick up at MSC. There is a GAMEDAY link. Also, link at A&M Transportation site.

Agree with suggestions of the local CSISD schools along George Bush drive.

Can someone tell me if it sucks getting out of WCG after a game? I bought a pass there with some tickets, but thinking a surface lot away from the stadium might be better.

Like any parking garage, it depends on when you plan to arrive and depart. Get their early and park on lower floor on a down exit slope near an exit. I think they direct traffic to Wellborn and you turn left to go North but check the transportation Game Day traffic link to confirm direction of exiting traffic.

If leaving or early or staying later after the game, either choice can alter your outcome on time to exit and drive away.

If you park on an upper floor and try to leave around same time as everyone else, of course it'll be a cluster.

Expect an hour or more wait in the garage post game.

if you exit on to Kimbrough - you're funneled to Welborn, if you exit on the Rec Center side - you're funneled to George Bush & then to 2818

Lots of street parking around there as well if the church lot is full. We used to park there and loved it cuz you could grab a beverage (or two) before (or after, or both) the game. Especially good atmosphere for night games.

Not entirely sure, but I think it's sealed, clear water bottles only. Saw a guy with a hydroflask get told by gate security that he couldn't bring it in at the Kent State game.
