tu is too far gone down this path. They will offer him $100 million(or more) and I'd think he takes it.
They are desperate, and he is about as sure as bet as there is right now.

He's also got chronic stress related brain issues. Would you rather live longer with $30 million or die sooner with $130 million.

They will keep raising the dollar amount until he says yes. They are publicly searching for a coach without firing their current coach, they couldn't have handled this in a more inappropriate way.

You might want to look into Dabo's buyout.......they'd owe an additional $15 million. So $20 million to Hermensa and assistants, $15million to Clemson....a nice $35 million in a pandemic year before the first paycheck is cut.Kozmozag said:
Sips should go make Dabo the 1st 15 mil. A year coach. 10 year deal. Open the vault make a statement. Meyer is done.

Those only flare up when the NCAA is about to look into his program.

Meyer doesn't have anything left to prove and doesn't need the money. Why would he tarnish his good coaching record going to a dumpster fire that just doesn't have the culture to do well anymore. They've yee'd their last haw.
Same thing they did to Mack Brown with the Saban nonsense. They could have replaced DeLoss with Oliver Luck as AD but Luck had one condition, Mack needed to be fired first. He didn't want to come in and summarily fire him.LesterHaze said:AggieDub14 said:

This is pretty on target. Belmont tower is too concerned these days with acting like a fake Harvard. The last thing they want is an arrogant, Hitler- esque coach like Meyer rolling his eyes at social justice. I'm not fully convinced Texas is going to fire Herman anyway. There is a decent chance he finishes 8-3 with a bowl win and can claim he was three plays from being 11-0.
Also agree with the poster who mentioned this process is being handled very poorly by UT.

Wrong! Urban Meyer is hanging out in Marble Falls, 30 miles from Austin, chilling out in the Texas Hill Country while waiting to commit to the sips as their next head coach...

I worked at Horseshoe Bay Resort for 2 years and will make some calls to see if UM was there
