Agreed. I stopped myself from giving a good friend a hard time about the loss for that very reason.

you know one thing...Ehlinger has had a very strange career.

today was his 15th or 16th loss as the longhorns' starting QB. That's a ton of losses for a college QB in today's game. Yet the more games he loses...the more praise he gets.

he's 3-0 in bowl games and won the RRS vs. OU & Murray in 2018.

but he's lost to Iowa State twice, TCU twice, Maryland, Baylor, West Virginia, Tech, etc..,

The way the longhorn DL just stood up on ISU's winning run was pathetic.

We would beat the living crap out of tu if we were matched with them, which I doubt.

May have to do with the fact that Texas had more 4 and 5 star recruits in the 2020 class than Iowa State has had since 2000.

I feel like where we have the program now as opposed to where it was when we took over, the future is very bright.
