Texas is significantly more talented along both lines of scrimmage and that usually decides the game unless the less talented team has a huge advantage at QB. Purdy is good but he's not vastly superior to Ehlinger.

If t.u. wins the conference, and we get shut out of the CFP, that'll most likely put us in the Cotton Bowl together.

Not the ideal situation or year, but we're a legitimate contender and the opportunity to destroy a mediocre t.u. team is almost too good to pass up.

Iowa state is not terrible.
They have a decent QB and a very good head coach that will likely have a big time offer after this year

Disagree. Sips need to lose this one. Otherwise they're sitting top 15 in the CFP with 2 almost guaranteed wins left. 7-3 isn't going to get Herman fired which would be losing today and winning out regular season. 8-2 and a top 10 or near that finish plus a big bowl isn't the season we should want a direct recruiting rival to have.

Sip receiver catches pass, takes two steps, braces for impact, gets the ball knocked out, and then just stands there as Iowa state recovers.

Now the announcer making excuses that it wasn't a catch. Just pathetic.

Disagree. 7-3 will get Tom Herman fired. Year 4 and a body of work that is mediocre. They will go after Urban Meyer and they should. Whether Urban has interest is a different story.

You can disagree with the rule itself, but that is right on the line between catch and no catch.
