Why do so many of you think you are more of an Aggie than he is? That he can't possibly be right? Sul Ross did some great things in his life and was involved in some not so great things. Instead of trying to disprove everything just listen. He is our starting QB for this university and wants change and wants to be heard. Kellen is just expressing what countless of other former athletes and students have felt over the years. No body on this board has ever started at QB for the Aggies or even been a black student athlete. It's embarrassing to say you want him removed from the team when a majority of the players back what he is saying. Mond chose us and will likely go down as our all-time leading passer. I think he's more than earned the right to have an opinion that others might not agree with. Let's not be the university that can't adapt to change.

Whether Kellen realizes it or not, he is being EXTREMELY political in a time where socialism is rising in the United States, and TRUST ME, I've listened to the other side, I've examined my conscience thoroughly, and I am 100% confident with where I stand politically.

Kellen's stances are beyond worthy of criticism because they are POLITICAL. The United States gives us the freedom to criticize dog**** political views, so you better believe I'm gonna use that freedom!!

No one said he can't have his opinion, and voice it; which he is able to do on a platform bigger than most all of us. We've all heard it.

But, we are also allowed to have our own opinion, and if it differs from his, so be it. You are the one that seems to be saying you must agree, or you're not for allowing his speech; or worse, maybe a racist.

Protest all you want Mr Mond, speak all you want. I retain the right to respond in kind, EVEN if my opinion differs from yours.

You seem to be mistaking the right from the left. The left, which I would bet is your side, is the one that wants to silence speech, other points of view that does not fall in line with their agenda; the left is the side that shouts down conservative speakers on campus, or riots and burns buildings if they are appearing (see Berkley a couple years back).

No, the conservative side welcomes the speech of Mr Mond and anyone else. But, you must understand, that we ALSO are allowed to speak, EVEN if our opinion differs from you.

It's probably true that the underlying is political. But the face of it is all about injustice. And if you can't see that, then that's on you. Any reasonable Ag understands he is entitled to his opinion and knows he has a platform to be heard. Most are fine debating the merits of the statue removal. Personally I'm fine if every statue on campus gets removed, don't care.

Where he has drawn the ire of many is judging the Corp based on the worst of its bad apples. And calling for the defunding of the entity. It is a slippery slope, calling for the end of things and not the reform of entities. Should Mond call for the end of football due to the number of sex offenders, drug dealers, racists, and sadly even murderers that have played for the team in recent history? Perhaps so, and I would listen to Mond much more seriously on other subjects if he called out the hypocrisy even on the current team.

I really hate to break this to y'all, but y'all really don't want A&M opening that Pandora's box of injustice in the Corp.

Tell the athletes of young and old to bring their checkbooks because their funds will be needed in larger quantities.

I agree with you that QB1 is an Aggie. However, I disagree with QB1 that I am a racist. QB1 says Aggies are racist. Oh yes, I still agree with you that QB1 is an Aggie.

I don't have an Ag Tag but I earned 2 degrees from Texas A&M University. It wasn't necessary to have an Ag Tag to graduate, nor were they available at the time....nor was the internet.

QB1 is an entertainer. I do hope QB1 graduates. I do hope the season gets canceled. The University and Aggies everywhere need a break from QB1.
