Last time I was in Nashville I got into an alcohol-induced discussion at the urinal with a guy in a UF Tebow Jersey wherein I stated that Manziel was the best to ever play college ball, and my clear-minded self stands by that. JFF should've won 2 Heismans but 2013 was the "Anybody-but-Johnny" year.

Wanna know how we know ur gay?

I was debating whether this was a really cool story or just a cool story. Landed on super cool.

H Walker, Bo Jackson, OJ Simpson, Earl Cambell, Archie Griffin, Tony Dorset, Doak Walker, Red Grange, Glen Davis. Jim Brown, Billy Cannon, Peyton Manning ,Roger Staubach, Barry Sanders, Billy Sims
Maybe Doc Blanchard. Johnny Manziel career length could hurt.

ESPN already revealed their 150 yr All-American team, I would suspect all those players should make the top 150.

My four greatest are Johnny Manziel, Doug Flutie, Joe Burrow, and Barry Sanders. Tommie Frazier, Herschel Walker, at least offensively speaking.

Just looked up Gale Sayers.
Didn't realize he had dementia and is unable to do a lot of daily tasks.

Archie Griffin was the most overrated player ever. Played on a great team with a great oline. Terrible pro career. He couldn't carry JFF's jock.

Where is the final top 25? I keep searching and the damned ESPN app opens and it's all the title game....

Almost as big a joke as Mayfield making it. A group of random people from Serbia who have never seen football could have done a better job.

Flutie, Mariota, and Mayfield made it in but no Johnny...

If this list had come out in 2015 he'd be top 25. But I think his post college career has ruined his legacy.

How long do you want to ignore this user?
81 Heisman trophy winners. So there are 70 guys who didn't have the biggest impact in a given season, but are top 150 all time.

5,600 yards rushing, 3 time 1st team All American, 2 time Heisman winner. . Yeah he's overrated.

Haven't revealed the top 25 yet, but the list is already a colossal train wreck. VY at 81? Tebow at 76??

But the real crime is, you guessed it, no Johnny Manziel to be found anywhere on the list. Regardless of what you think about Johnny, there's no way on earth he isn't one of the 150 greatest college football players of all time.

Put down the crack pipe. Do you have any concept of just how many college football players there have been? Assume 100 teams for 100 years with 70 players per team. That's somewhere around 700,000 players.

Manzel is more correctly ranked somewhere between 5000 and 50000 in "best college players of all time".
Hell, there is probably 150 DEFENSIVE players ahead of him.

Manziel will be in the top 25. Book it.

To the surprise of no one who reads your posts, you were wrong

The fact that you thought he was going to make the top 25 when Tebow was 76 is unreal

Seems like the player's pro career was a major factor in their list?

How long do you want to ignore this user?
This list is a joke. No one who played in the past 22 years made the top 44. No one who played in the past 10 years made the top 63, and that was Andrew Luck at 64 who is the only guy in the top 100 from the past 10 years. Feels like a list of old guys made by old guys talking about how much better the game was back in the day. And I say that as an old guy.

A true freshman to lead the SEC which had a monster talent year that year in rushing, and to win the first ever Heisman... mmmmmm k folks.

There were a bunch of quarterbacks on there that aren't even in the same ballpark as good.

How long do you want to ignore this user?
If he stayed two more years, he's on the list without a doubt because his numbers would be damn near untouchable. He might not be the best, but he's the most exciting player I've ever seen play at Kyle Field. Who cares if he's on the list or not? It doesn't change anything at all. We were lucky to be able to watch him, as brief as it may have been.

How long do you want to ignore this user?
Johnny should be on any list of top college players ever. It is ridiculous to even discuss it. I haven't even looked at the list, but was Manti Teo on it? Morons in 2012 wanted to say he was more deserving of the Heisman. People are idiots, including people who vote on lists.
