To each his own - my hate for tu doesn't trump me wanting what is best for A&M. I'm just not emotionally involved with anything tu anymore - and it's an awesome feeling. You should try it sometime, it's actually great to not let them have so much free rent space in your head.

My desire to not go back into a stupid series with them simply "because history!!!!!" does not equate to being emotionally involved with them. In fact, it demonstrates that I care far more about what is best for A&M.

I think it's more in the 10-14 point range. Something like 31-17 or 31-21. I don't see it being a blowout. Who knows maybe this new offense LSU talks about every offseason will finally be worth something.

it's gonna be a close game, barring some unaccounted for anomaly like joe burrow all of a sudden throwing for 400+ yards or one of the teams turning the ball over an inordinate amount of times.

LSU and tu's secondaries are good. tu likes to run with their QB and their OL is decent, but LSU's front 7 is always good. certainly LSU's backers are more than equipped to handle ehlinger. Aranda is one of the best DCs in the country. I'm gonna give LSU the advantage on that side of the ball.

LSU's run game is talented with some elite runners and tu's backers are dog***** the problem is, LSU's OL is not a point of strength. tu's DL is also unproven so perhaps the lines offset one another. another potential problem is if LSU tries to establish a new passing game and it flops, tu could pull ahead. tu's secondary is talented. i hope Ed O isn't stubborn and attacks tu's relative glaring weakness by running the ball.

If LSU establishes the run i'm guessing it'll be a 3-7 point win with home cooking likely accounting for 3-7 points in tu's favor. if they don't establish the run, i can see tu winning by 7 or more.

at the end of the day it's college ball and neither of these teams are named Bama or Clemson so we'll have to wait and see what happens on gameday.
