This game will be very similar to the 2014 Texas bowl with the Longhorns lucky to have 100+ yards of offense.
Same thing was said about the Sugar Bowl too. Like it or not, the homos west have some talent on their squad and if the tiggers don't come to play, they will be sad kitties at the end of the game.Fireman said:

Absolutely needs to be LSU. Imagine the utter delusions of grandeur coming out of Austin if the sips were to win that game. The UGA game was a mere prelude - since LSU will be in a position of caring enough to do everything they can to win, unlike UGA and their "wah, we didn't get the playoff so who cares about tu" attitude.
Barring that... LSU needs to win.ajolly said:

If Herman leads the Horns over LSU and week two we will finish this cycle with most if not all our top targets. So yea it is a pretty huge recruiting tool I would say! Herman will get it done, the guy is a superstar and he knows how to get the guys to play hard for him. Get a third strait top three class playing with the metal toughness and work ethic Herman demands for everyone in the program and that will win conference titles and produced playoff wins.

I wont give a score prediction because I have the utmost respect for LSU. However, I have been saying for weeks, that Collin Johnson will be next Longhorn drafted in the 1st round.
Texas vs LSU, the world will get to see, there is no answer for #9.

I agree. The way Herman takes these games personal is awesome and his players reflect that same pride in their play.
The night game atmosphere is intense and it feeds the players in a way I haven't seen here before. This team is on a mission to rep UT and to be respected. Put your $$ on THA HORNS!!
I never thought I'd believe that Iowa State would be a harder get than LSU but I believe that'll be the case this year.

I'm excited for the excuses for this game. Will the sec pumpers just say LSU wasn't excited to play? The refs cheated? They never just lose a game so I'm wondering what the narrative will be afterwards as it always changes to suit the sec agenda.

If we come out victorious against LSU then I anticipate LSU fans will acknowledge the loss. However, there will be that subset of Aggie fans that will lose their minds. The same Aggies whose every third word is "SEC", the same ones that say that they don't need to play us because they have nothing to gain from it. The truth is that group of crazies is scared to play us and are content to hide behind the other teams in their conference. When we beat the other teams in their conference they have nothing left to hide behind.

31- 3 in favor of Texas. LSU offense is not good to say the least. I think we will out run them like we outran Georgia.

So "it won't matter what happens" but here's an example of why it could matter.W said:
honestly this game is semi-meaningless for t.u. with regard to the CFP.
if they run the table in the BDF...it won't matter what happens vs. LSU (as long as they don't get blown out by 20+ points)
