It would be great if the score was 0-7 LSU, but in reality it looks much better for the SEC as a whole if they stomp the ever living hell out of them by 3 or more touchdowns. If they played with last years team, I think they would. I don't know about this "offensive powerhouse" strategy the cajun cookie monster is talking about. He may be out of his depth.

I haven't seen this point made but if LSU wins and Texas has a good season then it looks much better if we are able to beat LSU on the road. We don't play Texas, so no advantage whatsoever to us if they put an L on LSU's record.

Same thing was said about the Sugar Bowl too. Like it or not, the homos west have some talent on their squad and if the tiggers don't come to play, they will be sad kitties at the end of the game.

That being said, LSU should have the advantage nearly across the board on sheer talent and this being an early season game negates the letdown UGA had when they couldn't make the playoffs. I'm still not convinced UGA was as good as we wanted them to be and that tu is as bad as we hope them to be. Shrimp Boat Captain better have his game well thought out.

These clowns need to get ahold of themselves. They beat Tulsa by 7. Tard by 7. Used a LOT of referee help to beat Baylol by 6 and Kansas by 7. And of course, lost to Maryland. Ho hum. Plus lost half their defense. Although with those whopping TWO draft picks I guess they didn't lose much.....

Since the BCS, there have been 7 times that losing the SECCG cost the loser a shot at the title. I also included 2015 FL. They lost their shot at the title the week before the SECCG to FSU.*

None of this excuses UGA's performance. My point is only that it was not without precedent.


*I excluded 2006 Arkie, even though they also officially lost their shot at the title the week before the SECCG to LSU. They lost by 35 @ USC in week 1. Only a perfect storm would have put them in the title game.
