Assistant Manager at Walgreens. Had already been doing it part time, just took a few days off and then started full time. Didn't even have to leave College Station.

Software engineer

I had been working for the Coors beer distributorship in Bryan part time for about a year when I graduated on August 18, 1979. I was offered a full time job after I graduated and since my degree didn't exactly lend itself to a lot of job options I took it- felt it was better that looking for a job and kept me close to the "motherland". I didn't know what I was going to do with the $700/month I started out making....took me about a month and a half to figure it out!
