I've shared several beers with Arnie through the years. Those of you who don't know him need to stop. He's a great Aggie and a better person. Disagree with him if you want, but why question the character of a fellow Aggie for having an opinion different from your own? Quit being so sensitive to criticism and consider it to be a check on questionable behavior. If it never manifests into anything other than a facemask grab, good on everyone. Otherwise, it will be a warning shot if there are future escalations.
BTW, he is a sport psychologist who often teaches with the Sport Management team. There are a lot of Aggies wearing their rings today because of his service to the university.
Perhaps you could spend some of that time teaching him what the word "assault" means. I saw the much ballyhoo'd video of Fisher grabbing Dodson's facemask, and it was nothing. All he did was to turn his head so they were face to face. It was a fraction of a second. Anyone who calls that "assault" needs to have HIS head examined. It wasn't REMOTELY "questionable behavior". Even Dodson said so. Isn't HE the best arbiter of what is or isn't assault in that case?
I think the consensus on this board is that Dr. Leunes is dead wrong. If that many people think you're wrong, wouldn't a rational person reevaluate their position? Has he?
