The kid decomitted. His offer wasn't pulled. And you think if Jimbo doesn't go chase him down and beg him to re-commit he's "an idiot"? And anyone who's will to move on to the next kid in line is somehow less informed or less intelligent than you?

Jimbo Fisher is responsible for recruiting football players to play for Texas A&M. And he is paid well to do it. And his opinion matters more than anyone's when it comes to recruiting.

There are many people who agree with me. Look at the offers and the rankings. Jimbo Fisher is a damn good coach, but he certainly isn't infallible.
It's really just your argumentative and know-it-all posting that rubs people the wrong way. For a 15 year old kid to call a national championship winning head coach, who has been coaching football and evaluating talent longer than you've even been on this earth, "an idiot" just reeks of teenage superiority. And then you double down and accuse people of blind faith because they trust Jimbo's judgement of the situation. You don't win friends that way.
You're a smart and passionate kid. But whatever good points you bring up are quickly forgotten because you think you know better than everyone else. Experience is a hell of a teacher; some of us (like Jimbo) have a lot of it. Maybe be willing to be wrong and not so definitive (like guarantees).
And one more thing: Life isn't a debate tournament. You can have all the right answers, and still be all wrong for the job.

My last post in this now terrible thread:
That's not why they hate you. Here's a life lesson I hope you'll file away somewhere: Not every hill is worth dying on. You need to decide if perusing an arguement or "winning a discussion" is worth the collateral damage you cause along with it. Otherwise, you may find yourself on the outside looking in more often than you'd like.

Again, your opinion is completely irrelevant. I don't care what "seems" a certain way to you. I will go with the seasoned coach that has won 10 games a year on average and won a title.
You questioning him about his preferences about recruits (even though he hasn't said one way or the other) is pure comedy GOLD. And it is pretentious as hell.
And you have NO IDEA what Fisher thinks about Leon playing at A&M. None.
And that is the most entertaining point of all.

The reason why I was talking that way was because of the sheer amount of evidence that I feel backs me up (the other three NC winning coaches offering him, better stats, higher ranking, etc). I admit that the way I talk isn't the best way to make friends. It's something that I know that I need to work on. I'd love to learn how to say what I think based off of facts and stuff without turning it into an argument. How does one do this without coming off as arrogant/ a know-it-all? Another issue is that I feel the need to defend myself whenever someone takes a shot at me rather than rather than just being able to let it go. I end up feeding it instead.
I've even admitted that this isn't important in the grand scheme of things. I wish that I was able to let things go. I'll definitely think about everything you said. Thanks and Gig'em.

I'll have to go to the Library or pick it up on Amazon. In fact, I think my Dad has the audio book. I'll have to ask him about it. It sounds like a really good read. Pick up the book "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie. It's been in print since the 30's and should be essential reading for anyone in business. It will teach you everything you just mentioned and then some. Better yet, get the audiobook. Listen to it at least once a year. I'm 40 and still do. Thank me when you get your degree and start your career.
