When he touches the pylon he is considered out of bounds. The ball didn't cross the plane of the goal line until after that. It was the correct call. Missing obvious targeting is what bothers me.

If all you do is shotgun, it doesn't necessarily do you much good to go under center. It changes your timing, and it forces the quarterback to do something that hes not used to doing.

Guy lowers head/helmet and leads with it, doesn't matter what happens before. At least that is how it is usually called.
